‘Jambo’, the official song of the 21st World Scout Jamboree, is now available to pre-order. With the release date so close, we are on a mission to get to Number One in the UK Singles Chart. The band, The Adventure, is made up of four Scouts, Peter, Lucie, Nick and Caz. The song was recorded in April and features vocal support from Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

The two main ways to get the single are:
visit www.jamboreesong.com where you can pre-order a download of the song, as well as the dance remix and the karaoke track.  The tracks cost only £0.99
visit www.jamboreesong.com/tesco to pre-order the souvenir CD of Jambo from Tesco. This contains five tracks, including the remix and the karaoke track, as well as the official Jambo video. The CD costs £3.97.
We need as many pre-orders as possible to help us with our first week’s chart position.  We would like everyone to get involved to ensure that we accomplish our mission – together we can be Number One!
Spread the word about 'Jambo'.

Parkwood and the Caving Complex

Print PDF

Lots of work was undertaken during the working weekend – Paint was liberally applied to most of the compound area by the Explorers painting the portacabin, and work was started on the creation of a boat trailer park by the car park. Fallen trees were cleared by tree fellas (no really there were three of them).

The Parkwood caves are now available for use and many groups have already been squeezing their way through, including the Jamboree Troop early on April 1st ( 4am!).

At the last District Exec the caving complex pricing structure and booking procedures were agreed and passed unanimously. This means that everything is now in place to invite bookings for the use of the caves.

Should you require more information please contact the caving complex on the Contact Us page.
