It has been great seeing so many Brighton Scouts at the Martlets Jamboree at Laughton Showground this week, taking part in the activities, enjoying the festivities at the centenary celebrations on Wednesday as well as several serving in the principle colour party at the Sunrise Ceremony, carrying section flags, competing in tug of war competitions and carriage racing as well as visiting the big international camp at Hylands Park in Essex.

If any of you from the District who attended this event or any of the other events that have taken place this week for the centenary would like to submit a short report of your experiences please send them to me using this form.

Welcome to the new Brighton Scouts web site... Your web site!

We released the new web site to mark the 100th anniversary of our movement's founding.

Despite a full weekend dedicated to working on the web site, time has once again beaten us. We're open but we have a lot more to do!

The most important change is the district news. We will be posting news as it comes in, hot off the press! We also have a selection of national Scouting news, always up to date and ready for you to browse at any time.

One hot feature to look out for soon is the district events calendar. We'll be populating the calendar with events and inviting you to add your own. Instantly available and accessible to leaders, parents and members.

Please send us your comments! We like feedback.
