Follow the General Procedure described below.

As Parkwood is a recognised Scout site you do not need to produce a NAN (nights away notification) form to the host DC or to the Parkwood booking secretary, however you must produce that form to your home DC.

Camping Permits are the responsibility of your Group Scout Leader, they are required to ensure (as is your home DC) that the camp permit holder holds the correct classification. We are not required to check, although we occasionally do, so please ensure that your permit holder and their permit are available.

Brighton Scouts

Please note that your procedures are the same as all other Scouts (you cannot just turn up).

General Procedure

At present, should you wish to check availability prior to completing a booking form please complete the bookings enquiry form or telephone the bookings secretary on 01273 803340.

Download the booking form or fill it out online.

Complete the form on the booking form page or download and print this PDF copy of the form to complete manually.

On submitting the online version of the form your booking request will be submitted by e-mail alternatively put your completed paper form in the post.

By submitting the online form and using a typed signature you are accepting the Terms & Conditions. Your booking will be held as provisional for up to 14 days pending receipt of your deposit cheque, which should be clearly marked on the back with your booking reference and group name, and posted as below. Upon receipt of your deposit an email confirming your booking details will be sent to the address you have provided.

If posting sign the form to show that you accept the Terms & Conditions (the form must be signed by the responsible leader) and post, together with the deposit (see form), to Mrs H Cropp, 26 Coventry Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 5PQ. Confirmation of booking will be sent by return of post.

Our plan is to achieve real-time on-line booking in due course. In the meantime we hope that you find this procedure relatively simple and effective.
